Ianto walked down the stairs in his house, nervous as to what Jack would think.
He looked up from fiddling with his cuff links as he got to the bottom of the steps.
“Jack, I...”
he stopped midsentace when he saw the look on Jacks face.
Jacks open mouthed stare was a little unnerving, “What’s wrong Jack? Is it not ok? I can change.. I knew this was a silly idea.”
Ianto half turned to go back up the stairs agian, when Jack made a weird noise, sounded a bit like “GUH”
Ianto had never seen Jack at a loss for words before “Jack? You ok?”
Jack clacked his jaw shut and all of a sudden the trademark grin was back.
“Oh Ianto Jones, you have no idea do you? Did you look in the mirror?”
Ianto frowned, he had checked in the mirror before he left his bedroom he thought he looked ok. “Yes.” He said sounding a little like a sulking 5 year old “I thought it would be ok. I know I havent worn it in a while but...ooof”
Jack cut him off by grabbing Ianto and pressing his lips to his own. Jack released him slowly, and with smile said, “I know you looked good in a suit, but damn, Ianto, that tux makes you look like James Bond!”
Ianto finally got it and smiled back at Jack.
“You like?”
Jack smirked and grinned back at Ianto.
“I like... wait does that make me a Bond Girl?”
Ianto started to chuckle, opened the front door and walked out of the house, Jack waited for a moment watching the magnificant bottom of Ianto Jones walk away from him.
Then, pulliing the front door closed he caught up with Ianto.
“You got the keys?”
“Thanks Jack, you say that after pulling the door shut!”
“Car keys?”
“Oh,” Ianto fished in his pocket and pulled out the SUV keys. “You want to drive or shall I? Um... never mind, I’ll drive.”
Jack smiled and opened the passenger side door after Ianto had bleeped the alarm.
Buckling his seat belt, Ianto looked at Jack. “So why did I need to wear this tux again?”
“MI6 Charity ball.”
Ianto raised his eyebrow. Sometimes he didn’t know when to believe Jack.
