absdax Photo time!
Totally knicked Erin's post as i'm a totally lazy bum, but since we're on the same trip and she said i could...

One of the shops we wandered past near the Christchurch Cathedral. The Torchwood/Dr Who bears NEEDED a photo in front of this place. The bears are Ianto, Captain Jack and the Doctor, so you know.
Jack is a very silly bear. Here he is shopping at The Warehouse...
and posing on the bed...
and with a whole lot of bananas...
and waiting for Ianto to call...
This is the pet fish at the backpackers. We named it McCartney after Lister's robot goldfish in Red Dwarf.
That's a LOT of cash. We bought a van (that we named Felicia) and thus had to take a lot of cash out of the ATM. That's $2000 in $20s.
The tea cosy collection in a random shop near the backpackers...
and the room of orangeness in the same shop. This photo's for you Rina.
I finished knitting a pair of socks. They are very comfy.
And then we headed south through Ashburton where we found one of those cars with three wheels.
and then through Winchester! This was very exciting.
and then through a town with a creeptastic haybale family.
Some random scenery later...
We got to Clyde. This is the view from Felicia.
That grass is the edge of a VERY steep hill leading down to the river.
Here's a very pretty sunrise.
And the moon, and a photo of the tree next to the car coz I thought it looked cool.
And this is the Post Office Cafe. It's really cool and has fabulous food.
It comes in pints? I'm getting one!
