Torchwood Meetup Sydney Jan 08

absdaxOk, so i think it went pretty well. i for one had a fantastic time meeting new friends.

Hiya to all.
We met at 1pm at the Bondi Junction Build a Bear.
we had two Vote Saxon t-shirts, a Janto t-shirt, a Mrs Owen Harper t-shirt and a Ianto's Coffee club t-shirt.
so we made Jack Bear some furry friends.

so we made Jack Bear some furry friends.
after building some furry friends for JackBear, we tryed to find the coffee club cafe, for soem coffee.
mmmmmm we all ended up having cold drinks but they were still yummy.
then onwards to the ABC shop, to see what merch they had, they really didnt have much, so we went on to Galaxy Books.
on the train there Jack and Ianto were up to no good...
when crossing the road to Galaxy Books, a black range rover drives past us, and i screech out, TORCHWOOD! and point at the SUV. i think i scared a few ppl!
arriving at galaxy books, (heaven) i think we might have scared the ppl on the tills also when 10 Torchwood and Dr Who fans all converged on the Dr Who section.
some sonic screwdrivers were obtained (leagally) and then we found some shiny posters and JackBear decided he had to be in them.
then we found a bookshop that was MINE!!!!!!!!! wheeeee! more hyperness on my part.

then Jack Bear found a shop to his liking, and he posed for pictures with Ianto Bear and Doctor Bear.
then we had to say bye to rytu3k and to blamebrampton.
and then we went on insearch of the Bridge and the opera house.
we find a lovley fountain for the guys to pose next to. Smile guys!

then we find a lovely orange post.
so we take a picture, then some security guy tells us off for taking pics and chases us away.
so i think we found Torcwood 4. yeah, it got relocated to Sydney!
Look it even has the Torchwood Bears!
no idea why they said we couldnt take pictures!!!
we finally got to circular quay,
yeah look a really cool bridge!
and a shiny opera house. see we really are in Sydney!
then the bears got up to no good.
Jack and Jack go dancing.
they fell over... REALLY!!!! (well JackBear did, he put himself in that situation!!!)

we then head to get some food
and the JackBears end up dancing on the tables.
and then our day is over, and fun was had by all humans and bears alike.

Date: 2008-01-26 01:36 am (UTC)I had an awesome time, though Ianto Bear has beena bit of a naughty boy since coming home! He assulted a woman on the train, discovered my printers inbuilt photocopier/scanner, and refuses to sit quietly on the shelf with Myfanwy! (He likes to jump off in the night)
I blame Jack Bear for this you realise. He's a bad influence.

Hows NZ? Hope your having fun, Can't believe what's happening with Owen!! Not that we get to see it, Though I've been having a cry at the spoilers I've seen, Damn slow internet connection, gonna wait for the DVD or we get it on TV over here lol!
