Hello All Torchwooders and Whovians

Since I am now in Sydney thort I'd post again for the Sydney Meetup.

2nd Reminder for Sydney Torchwood and Dr Who Meet Up

Meet at Westfield Bondi Junction Build-a-Bear Workshop
500 Oxford Street,
 at 1pm.

the Plan is to Build some Torchwood and Doctor Who Bears, so that JackBear is not alone this side of the planet...

After making our furry Torchwood friends we would then go for a Coffee, and to some Random Sydney Locations for a Torchwood Photoshoot.

If anyone thinks that they would like to be a part of this fun filled frivolity.

Q -How much does Build a bear cost
A - Depends how many clothes you want for your bear to give you ideas go to the website here    
note not all shops will have all costumes and bears...

Q - Can i come and not buy a bear but join in the fun anyway?
A - Yes of course you can!

I wonder how many of us will have watched the first new episode of Torchwood by then?

Oh I will have too, several times, and be able to quote it off-by-heart by then.
I'll be wearing my 'Vote Saxon' t-shirt which I think is pretty identifiable. There's every chance I'll be holding a cup of coffee too. Ianto would be so proud of me, the little coffee addict. (I maintain it is in fact, all his fault, despite the fact that I drank coffee religiously long before ever watching Torchwood)

Quick question! Where abouts in Westfield is Build-A-Bear? Every single time I've gone there, I've managed to get lost >.> (Chatswood, no problem. The Junction? Eek!)

It's on level 5 of Westfield, the nearest major landmark is Target, from memory (I've never been in the shop but I've walked past it a couple of times.) If you can find the escalators near Borders, the bear shop is just the next level up.

Ooh, okay, thanks! Although... I've looked at the site, doesn't seem like they have a lot... I'm going to the US in February for Gallifrey One, so I'm planning on building one there ^_^

i phoned up the other day and apparently they have a few new little suits for bears that have just come in, a black suit, and a pinstripe one, and another one. am gonna ring tommorrow to check, but it looks good for IantoBear and his suit fettish!!!

I still haven't asked my boss but I should be able to come (I don't like to give too much notice in case they change their minds)... I have the time owing to me but won't be able to leave work until 1pm. So by the time I leave work and get a train to Bondi Junction, should be around 1.30pm

And I already have a JackBear my mum made for me, (he's not very good but he'll do) shall I bring him along?

I would love to come, I'm just worried about getting lost since Iam sooo good at it, I'll be coming from wollongong and I've never been to sydney on my own before...sounds a little sad considering I'll be 20 in july lol

Due to losing my job and thus having no money (hate. life.) I'm definately not going to make it over to Sydney, which is very sad, as I was looking forward to meeting you lovely people!
