Hello All Torchwooders and Whovians

I am organizing a Torchwood and Doctor Who Meet up in Sydney, Australia

The provisional dates are either Tues 22 Jan or Wed 23 Jan 2008 (Most prob Wed!)

Meet at Westfield Bondi Junction Build-a-Bear Workshop.
500 Oxford Street,
 at 1pm.

the Plan is to Build some Torchwood and Doctor Who Bears, so that JackBear is not alone this side of the planet...

After making our furry Torchwood friends we would then go for a Coffee, and to some Random Sydney Locations for a Torchwood Photoshoot.

If anyone thinks that they would like to be a part of this fun filled frivolity.

Q -How much does Build a bear cost
A - Depends how many clothes you want for your bear to give you ideas go to the website here    
note not all shops will have all costumes and bears...

Q - Can i come and not buy a bear but join in the fun anyway?
A - Yes of course you can!

Sounds like fun! I'm open to either day. What would we be looking at for the total cost? Also, what sort of radius would these Random Sydney Locations be? I'm not terribly mobile, due to peripheral neuropathy, but I can manage some walking. :) And if worse comes to worst, I'll just show up for the bears and coffee, and head home afterwards.

I wonder... could I convince Mum to let me go to Sydney? I live in Adelaide (oh, the boringosity!) but I have rellies in Sydney... she'd freak, maybe I'd better not, but I would LOVE to! If I could just convince her... *plots*

Can anyone come up with any concrete ideas that would get me on a plane and at Bondi Junction on whatever day you decide to hold this on?

I think I'll be there, as far as I know 'll be back from various christmas holidays and whatnot by then.
Oh, and if you're looking for suggestions for places to go, i suggest Galaxy Bookstore, for the sci-fi geek in everyone. It's just about my favourite place in Sydney, ever.

Oh! I was going to be in Sydney then to do some gigs, but I got sick and now I'm not going to be there...and now this is happening and...aargh! :P
