Washington Day 2 - the JackBear Adventures...

Washington, Day 2, - Thursday 11th

Well we left or bags at the hostel, (twas a really nice hostel, and we went adventuring into town, to go to the air and space museam, cos JackBear said it would be fun!)

we started at the Capital Building, and found a funky waterfall to have pics next to...

then back on to the capital building, for daylight pics instead of sunset pics










Then on to the Air/Space Museam! yea, they had some cool stuff there and an exhibition with shiny random things from american history, from Kermit the frog to Abe Lincolns top hat!!!

and also the first colour camera used to film Wizard of Oz, and the scarecrow and Dorothys Ruby slippers.






and C3PO and R2D2!!! (squeeeeeee)



AND SOME STOPWATCHES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hehehehe!!!! 
JackBear Got REALLY hyper at this point!!! so he sat on them to have a pic with both the droids and the stopwatch!!!

strange how one can get obsessed over things that didnt really intrest you before and then they appear on Torchwood and all of a sudden you get obsessed...  and go into a museam and take lots of pics of stopwatches for no other reason apart from the "stopwatch incedent" on torchwood....




Then Jack found the SPACE bit and went a bit hyper!














After the air space museam, we decided to go find the National Archives  and find the Bill of Rights and the Declration of Indpendance.
Jack again got hyper prob cos of all the fond memories he has of the Torchwood Archives!!!! heheh






we wernt alowed to use flash on the cameras so it came out a little blury, but this is JackBear in the Archives after looking at the Declration of Indpendance and the Bill of Rights 

then it was time to get the bus to Indy... that was one long overnight trip... friday we took no pics. didnt really venture out, just relaxed and watched more Heroes after checking into the Hostel in Indy...


so on to Saturday the 13th

These are all great. Thanks for sharing them. JackBear looks like he's listening so intently to whatever Kermit is saying, and looking up and up and up at the rockets.

Have fun in STL! Don't forget the train museum. I am pretty sure they have a car very similar to the one Jack was in when the Fairies killed his squad.

Oh D.C. my wonderful, wonderful city. I adore the Smithsonians, and when my friends and I went to the NHM and A&S we tried to take as many pictures with our won bears (Ianto, Shep and Rodney). We have one of Ianto!Bear with the stop watches as well.

Though, some of those shots you've taken, with both the bear and the scenery behind it, those had to have been some tricky angle shots. I know, I've tried.
