Captain Jack Bear

Yea i has Captain JackBear.


i was walking past the Bear Factory... DOH i keep calling it that... it had a name change.... Build a Bear. and i saw some really cute little converse in the shop window, and i thought... OOOOH Doctor Bear... so i went in and asked if they had any little brown pinstripe suits to go with the black converse boots... alas they didnt... but then i started talking to her and she was so ammused that i wanted to make a Doctor Bear, she said she didnt watch Dr Who but she watched Torchwood... 

Then the manager of the shop came out and the girl calls him over, and says, LOOK shes making a Jack bear, and the manager is a massive Whovian! awesome, and takes me round the shop showing me costumes i could make kinda doc who themes, and he points at some glasses. and says, Boots and Glasses, nearly there?? 

but they didnt have ANY suits whatsoever so there goes the thought of a Ianto ot Doctor Bear... 

then i said, well what kinda clothes do you have that are kinda smart?? 
cos i could make a Ianto or a Jack bear... then i spotted the lovley little brown boots that Jack has, and a blue striped shirt and some grey/blue trousers. and JackBear is born. i also see the leather Jacket they have and think about getting a season 1 leather clad JackBear, but nope, i had my heart set on Torchwood JackBear with his little braces that i had spied in Caires Accessories! 

In Claires they had lots of braces, so i got a red pair and a green pair, then if i find a light green/mint shirt in the New York branch (which is the BIGGEST in the world) JackBear will have a few outfits...
I'm sooooo going to the New York one!!!!

so without further ado, may i present JackBear...

then i made a belt from the cut off from the braces i had altered.



i'm in love with JackBear cos he is SOOOOO cute... i wont tell him that he missed out on getting his nipples rubbed from GDL thou, as he might get a little jealous!!!

yea, i have been looking at all the clothes available on their website, i've found a lovley little suit that is Ianto. and they have a lab coat that could be owen, and i found a airforce outfit that could be RealJack...
when i get to NY i feel a spending spree comming on!!!

I just adore your Jack bear, he is so cute. I know what you mean about the lack of suits in the branches as i went into the Cardiff brance a week ago to get some more clothes for my Ten Bear and also to dress Jack and Ianto bears that i have. Sadly Ianto is still naked, but is wearing Ten Bear's pyjama's at the moment.

I KNOW!!!! how bizare was that!! it was like it was ment to be... i tryed to persuade him that having dr who orientated clothing would be a FANTASTIC idea... and he said yeah!
so... soon.... you never know... if enough ppl ask for Doctor or Jack or Ianto etc we might get a line of DR WHO Bears!!!

Aww bless that is so cute! I think the only solution to lack of formal clothing is to make custom stuff, at some point I'm getting a bear and probably teaching myself to make stuff, just because (: Or we could always mob buildabear and get them to make them? (:

Hey, your bear has the same shirt as my Jack!
Different shoes though, and mine is wearing jeans as well since I couldn't find proper trousers for him.

I actually got those trousers for Ianto. But I couldn't find a shirt and jacket to match, so as far as I'm concerned, Jack is after ripping the shirt off of Ianto!
